We advise all pets to be microchipped!

We will advise vaccination based on AVMA recommendations and your pet's risk status and past history.
SOFT TISSUE SURGERY
We offer common spay, neuter, growth removal, and many others.
Drug Free Pain Therapy

We strongly encourage therapy and modalities that reduce need for drugs. This includes Librela, Adequan, Laser Light Therapy, and PRP/Stem Cell.
SPECIALTY SURGERY
Dr Seth has experience with simple patella luxations, PRAA repair, simple external liver shunt, PDA repair, amputations, and many more.
DENTAL CARE

Pets are at risk for dental tartar which leads to dental disease and infection. We offer complete dental cleanings.
ACL (Cruciate Ligament) Surgery
Dr Seth has acquired a special interest in performing hundreds of ACL repair surgeries on dogs ranging from 15lbs to 150lbs.

OUR CLINIC
Maumee Valley Veterinary Clinic was founded on a dream and a mission of Dr David Nahrwold in 1987 - to provide quality care and results for the small town of Woodburn and surrounding communities.
Over the past 34 years, Dr Nahrwold has combined the latest in pet technology as well as the attentive personal care of a small town veterinarian. This has achieved a reputation of a practice that cares for each and every one of its patients and their families individually.

In 2021 due to health challenges, Dr Nahrwold's son- Dr Seth started to help part time to not only be able to continue to provide the same great care to its clients, but to also begin the transition of taking over the ownership of the business.
For 2022 and beyond, Dr Seth Nahrwold will continue to build and grow that reputation by maintaining advanced, individually formed care for each 4 legged pet that joins our family. Not only this but he will add even more treatment options and technology to further provide top notch care options not frequently found in a small clinic setting.
